Yoga & Mindfulness School Programs

We have created Yoga & Mindfulness online and live programs for school students from Grade 4 to Year 12.

These programs are dedicated to crafting life changing experiences and opportunities, building consciousness and awareness, and providing tools for young people by facilitating the gentle development of movement, mindfulness and self expression.

We empower young people with a “tool belt” of exercises and modalities to access in times of stress and anxiety, including:

– Breath Awareness and Techniques
– Meditation
– Journal Writing
– Creative movement
– Touch
– Traditional Yoga techniques.

Our online programs

Our programs combine gentle administration of Yoga and Movement with information and awareness of the mind and mindfulness techniques.

Our programs are available in two six-week formats designed for schools:

Project Care – delivers weekly yoga classes with a specific focus. All participants are encouraged to complete a weekly written task in their journal allowing them to reflect further on the focus, and relate it to their own lives.

Mindful Minutes – delivers 10-20 minutes videos delving further into the topics addressed in Project Care, while allowing students an opportunity to revisit, reconnect and further understand the material.

Rather than journal exercises, worksheets were delivered bi-weekly that were in a Q & A format to allow students to reflect further and acknowledge how active they were in applying the new tools.

Who is this program for?

These programs can be implemented on all levels, and is designed to give young people the opportunity to not only gain tools, but insights into how they show up in their world.

Classes are broken down to the following age brackets:
– Grade 4-6
– Year 7 & 8
– Year 9 & 10
– Year 11 & 12

The skills and techniques learnt in this program are profound and necessary in order for our next generation to move forward into adulthood.
